This role is part of Business Group Professional responsible for a global team of Marketing Horticulture. Its responsibilities are at the heart of driving Horticulture so aspiring for city farming must be in your DNA.

Signify Horticulture LED Solutions creates LED lights to grow crops; either in greenhouses, or in city farm environments www.philips.com/horti. In the coming year we will further professionalize our way of working by targeting the horticulture and floriculture target audiences with the right tools at the right time.

Second we would like to generate more leads through our online efforts; web, twitter, newsletter, seo, sea, linkedin.

The Horticulture LED Solutions team consist of about 80 enthusiastic team members. The Marcom team globally consists of 5 people (3 in Eindhoven). You will closely work with the marcom specialist and global marcom manager in Eindhoven

Your responsibilities

  • Help organize a couple of international trade shows and events
  • Support in creating newsletters for customers and partners
  • Analyze statistics for the website, twitter, exhibitions, etc.
  • Help create customer testimonials (case studies) and press information including photography, copywriting, layout etc.
Learn about all aspects within MarCom in a fast-paced international working environment. This is a unique chance to dive into something new for a period of minimum 6 months and amplify on your professional and social competences.

The internship is full-time. It aims to start as of August 1, 2018. This is a hands-on assignment.
Duration: 6 months - 1 year.
You are...

An energetic, hands-on HBO student.
· Fluent in English and Dutch, written and verbally;
· Strong verbal and written communication skills;
· Marketing and/ or communications background is preferred.
· Currently studying towards: HBO in Marketing, Communication or Business administration/management

Internship Conditions
o You will receive an internship allowance; the exact amount depends on your situation (also towards rented accommodation or public transportation);
o The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month;
o Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop).

Notes

o EU/EER students: In order to be considered for this internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of this may be requested at any time.
o Non-EU students in Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (receive ECTS in turn). In case of non-compulsory internship, you need to have a letter from the university in which it states that your internship contributes to your personal development, what your learning goals are and what tasks you will undertake during your internship. The letter has to be signed and stamped by your university.
o Non-EU students in non-Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and the internship should be a compulsory part of your studies. Also, you need to be able to get the official approval of your university for this internship (Nuffic agreement).
