Global Product Manager, Prof Systems, Color Kinetics

Lead product Manager for a Global Architectural Lighting Product Line with a value-based product proposition targeted at Lighting Designers and Architects.

Detailed Activities:

1. New Product Propositions: Collect and translate market and segment requirements into MRDs, determine product development tradeoff choices, forecast new product sales, coordinate and collaborate with product marketing peers in x19 Markets.

2. Product Launch: Develop value proposition and competitive differentiation, determine pricing, determine samples required, develop launch package, support trade shows, coordinate product introduction to international sales channels (through Value Added Partners and End User Direct Sales) with Segments and Product Marketing in Markets, and deveoped targeted communication to key influencers including Lighting Designers and Architects.

3. Market Support: Manage Market Activation in x19 Markets and x3 Channels by ensuring value propostion, key differentiators, and customer pain points are clearly understood and with actionable infomration adn collatoral - including providing sales samples for new product introduction, providing product training at sales and marketign meetings, and providing sales support as required to grow business.

4. Product Portfolio Lifecycle Management: Manage product introduction schedule, product EOL schedule, product data management (Arena, SAP Codes, Website) digital product collateral (data sheets, product videos, installation guides, product presentations), product replacement management (coordination with other organizations of ramp up new / ramp down old product) to achieve sales growth and profitability targets.

5. New Product Roadmapping and Portfolio Management: Manage overall Portfolio Startegy and Roadmap. Develop new product roadmap for targeted applications globally, prioritizing based on common needs from regions, revenue potential, and strategic focus areas.
