Customer Service Officer

As Customer Service Officer you improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth by managing sales orders to ensure that the customer receives the ordered goods in the right time and on the right place.

Your responsibilities

  • Accept and validate sales order by checking references and validating relevant information
  • Check availability of order and prepare delivery proposal; where needed select proposed alternatives and update order status
  • Screen of complex orders (specials) regarding technical content and commercial correctness.
  • Manage specials, combined shipment, missing or dead on arrival.
  • Manage sales orders up to delivery to forwarding.
  • Monthly reporting of order receipts, deliveries, sales and stock levels
  • Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution
  • Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards that mission
  • Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions
  • Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports
  • Control resources and utilize assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree holder in Business Administration, Engineering or similar field from a reputable organization
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as Customer Service Officer
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Track record of over-achieving targets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good English reading and writing
