Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to
A team of 5 Trade-in Desk managers (3 in Best and 2 in Cleveland, OH) and 3 Trade-in managers (2 in Best and 1 in Cleveland. OH). You will be reporting to the Global Director of Trade-in, located in Best. You will be in contact with Philips account managers in North America. They are selling new Philips systems to hospitals. Existing equipment in these hospital needs to be replaced and returned to Philips. In addition you will be communicating with various other companies that buy and sell medical equipment.
You are responsible for
- Execute the Trade-in Desk operations for North America related to all trade-in of imaging equipment (Philips as well as competitive equipment) in an effective and time sensitive manner.
- Support account managers, sales back-offices and the RS organization concerning trade-in of medical imaging equipment.
- Provide excellent service to the sales organization and broker network, including a 48-hour response time and quality offers.
- Provide cost-effective, problem solving solutions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate sales of used equipment to brokers.
- Maintain contacts with sales organization and internal Business Units as well as Philips Finance Organizations.
- Maintain professional contact with international brokers in Europe and North America about the sales of pre-owned equipment.
- Follow-up on financial closure of projects.
- Mediate between the sales organization and brokers in case of issues.
- Document all relevant information, and continually monitor the status of all used equipment coming back for refurbishment, as well as equipment being purchased by brokers, to ensure proper trade-in values, terms and conditions are enforced.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- A bachelor degree in commercial or service business is preferred.
- Motivated individual with effective verbal and written communication skills (mainly over phone, Skype and email).
- Experience with order processing preferred
- Basic knowledge of Medical Imaging products desired
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office: Word & Excel
- Work style: Accurate and process driven
- Very good team-player
