Your Challenge:

Develops product software, tools, simulators, and other software; development includes requirements, design, implementation, tests, and trouble shooting.

Your Responsibilities:

Develops product software—requirements, design, implementation, tests, troubleshooting.

Develops and/or validates tools, simulators, and other non‐product software.

Has Basic knowledge, skills, and the ability to apply these in projects under some guidance.

Normally requires general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments; follows standard practices and procedures.

PROBLEM SOLVING

Can use domain knowledge and skills to resolve standard situations.

Solves technical problems using many methods, including using others or finding published solutions.

Learns quickly but may require some guidance and instruction from more senior members.

Displays adequate time management skills.

Meets deadlines.

May need help with long term estimates.

Your Requirements:

Education: B.S. degree in Computer Science or related technical degree, or equivalent professional software engineering experience

  • Experience: 3 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Current programming languages, e.g., C++, C# .NET, C, and scripting languages
  • Current operating systems, e.g., Windows, Linux, VxWorks
  • Source code control
  • Software reliability: code reviews, white box testing, TDD, etc.
  • Defect management
  • SCRUM and other forms of Agile Development
  • Software build & test automation
  • System software installation
  • Diagnostics tools
  • System integration with global teams

Demonstrable clear oral and written communication skills; excellent command of written and spoken
