We are looking for a person who thrives in a new product development environment, with a consistent and aggressive commitment to the successful application I knowledge, skills, principles and practices that produce quality work and satisfied customers. The successful candidate will have experience troubleshooting customer problems and creating short term and long term technical solutions to support customer needs. This would include development of to support implementation, deployment, and upgrade of a software product. Critical thinking in design and coding will be the measure of the successful candidate.

We are looking for:

  • Superb software troubleshooting skills. Must be a great self-directed problem solver
  • Proven expertise in debugging system and platform issues using a variety of memory profiling, performance, and system auditing tools such as WinDbg, PAL, PerfMon, DebugDiag, JetBrains, or JustTrace
  • SQL Server 2008 R2 or higher, SQL profiler, SQL performance tuning
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS platforms (all Windows Server releases from Win2008R2 onward; Windows 7 & Windows 10), including Windows Services, backup/recovery/failover
  • Solid knowledge of client deployment, security, Active Directory and controls, error and event log management; Hands-on client-server troubleshooting and deployment knowledge
  • Demonstrated hands-on knowledge in networking (DNS, etc)
  • C#, .NET & C# debugging skills (comfortable with debugger) with proven problem solving and analytic skills
  • Virtualization technologies from VMWare (ESXi, vSphere, Hypervisor) and Microsoft Hyper-V (2012 and higher)
  • Proven experience with AWS/cloud deployment and support

  • Familiarity with packaging and deployment using InstallShield 2012 and beyond
  • PowerShell 3.0 or higher
  • Continuous integration and build deployment experience, Nant knowledge in particular
  • System interfacing & interoperability exposure
  • Visual Studio 2012 or higher
  • Unit Test Development
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to document software designs (logical & physical)

High Wants:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Clustering technologies and techniques
  • Experience with HL7 interoperability standards and implementations.
  • Ability to create installation scripts/Windows command prompt BAT files
  • Knowledge of MSMQ, IIS, Registry management
  • Proven experience with TFS 2012 or higher
  • Test Automation experience
  • Experience developing software in a medical software regulated development environment, including regulatory documentation aspects
