Senior Technical Project Manager_ Cambridge, MA.
In this role, you have the opportunity to lead and own solution deployment projects for a state of the art, first of its class solution that has real impact on oncology patients' lives. Our products, IntelliSpace Genomics and IntelliSpace Oncology were introduced in 2016 to integrate large-scale genomic analysis with extensive contextual clinical patient data. The solution is built on Philips HealthSuite, a cloud-enabled connected health ecosystem of devices, apps and digital tools that work seamlessly together to enable personalized integrated health and continuous care.
We need a strong project manager to successfully lead solution deployment projects with our growing customer base.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

  • Plan, drive, monitor and execute complex deployment projects of our solutions in our customer's environments.
  • Plan and manage all stages of the deployment from needs analysis to go live and post live activities
  • Provide solutions and overcome difficulty and challenge when the need arises
  • Work with customers and product managers to match the solution to exact customer's needs matching project plans to roadmap and strategy.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and success throughout the deployment project representing the project's needs internally.
  • Drive and coordinate R&D and other delivery teams to achieve project success.
  • Provide timely, project status and risk summaries to internal and customer executive sponsors

You are a part of a highly motivated and multi-disciplinary team, who creates innovative genomic and oncology products at Philips. Our team utilizes the latest technologies in informatics, oncology informatics, human genomics, SW engineering, cloud technologies, analytics, machine learning, natural language processing, big data and others.
The project manager works within a team of project and product managers and collaboratively with customers, management and R&D. In this position, you will be reporting to the head of program management office in Cambridge, MA.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in the healthcare IT domain either with healthcare institutions or with vendors. Experience in developing and / or deploying LIS, LIMS, EMR or Genomics interpretation systems would be considered a major advantage.
  • At least 7 years of experience running SW development and deployment projects as a project manager. Must have proven deep knowledge of the SW lifecycle. PMP certification is a major advantage.
  • The right candidate with have experience in clinical settings and a proven ability to successfully work with clinicians
  • At least 2 years of experience participating in Agile methodology based projects demonstrating deep understanding of the principals
  • At least 5 years working with customers including timeline and delivery negotiations, internal and external stake holder management and so on.
  • Deep knowledge and 5+ years' experience in bioinformatics and / or medical oncology is an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a global company directly interacting with global teams
  • Experience in SaaS, cloud based product development / deployment is a great advantage.
  • Great collaborator, great people driver with and without authority.
  • Customer facing attitude capable of working with customer executives and project managers.
  • Ability to prioritize and take hard decisions.
  • Proactive and positive attitude towards complex challenging multidisciplinary problems
  • Self-motivate and driven to improve quality in healthcare
