In this role, you have the opportunity to join our Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) team to support process and tool development and validation.

You are responsible for

  • Ownership of our quality system software validation process, templates and practices in accordance with medical device manufacturing standards and regulations
  • Design and develop process and practice improvements
  • Specify, select and validate new or improved software tools
  • Writing requirements and developing verification and validation strategies and protocols

You are a part of
Automatic External Defibrillator Product Development and you will be part of the life-saving equipment needed to increase sudden cardiac arrest survival rates from the unnecessarily low 8% nationally to rates of over 60% survival like King County, WA. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of application development, testing, and deployment.
  • At least 5 years' experience in software development and/or software test
  • Experience in a regulated industry such as medical or aerospace
  • Experience in implementing systems compliant to 21CFR11 is preferred
  • ASQ Software Quality Engineer certification preferred"
