Your challenge

For assigned area, defines the segment strategy and long term product roadmap intersections. Formulates the customer needs for segment, based customer problems to be solved. Collects and analyses market information and defines existing market segment target groups.

Defines the business opportunity for the segment. Supports the operation and definition of the Integrated Roadmap for Patient Care and Monitoring Solutions. Works collaboratively with key linkages across Businesses and Markets.

This position will have a focus on Hospital financial management.

Your team

We announce the creation of a Global Solution and Segment Marketing team within Patient Care and Monitoring Solutions. This team will be tasked with defining, creating and launching solutions in partnership with markets, PCMS product marketing,

services and M2O (Market-to-Order). This includes managing the integrated Roadmap with the CTO office and collaborating on the portfolio strategy with the CMIO office portfolio strategy. The team will also support BG marketing strategy and key initiatives with expertise in select clinical areas, hospital and clinical IT, and operational healthcare economics to extend solutions beyond traditional Philips business and delivery models.

Reports to: Head of Solution and Segment Marketing, Patient Care and Monitoring Solutions

Our offer

Owns focus area as subject and content internal expert – point person for PCMS on customer and market point of view around focus area subjects and issues.

Creates and defines opportunities (definition and quantification) for Philips and customers in focus area to drive PCMS roadmap, solution projects, and strategic priorities.

Creates detailed briefing materials and plans to drive content, strategy, and meaningful action from deep insight into customer focus areas – focus on needs for demonstrated customer value and changing target behaviors.

Supports Solution Marketing, PCMS and key Market priorities with target audience messages, needed behaviors, decision making dynamics, and market dynamics with a focus on customer and market out viewpoints

Supports annual PCMS roadmap, strategic planning, and business/market planning processes, as well as Solution level gated processes with subject expertise focused on opportunities and target audience behaviors through research, customer relationships, and cross BG collaboration

Strong critical thinking and analytical tool kit

Marketing planning and strategy

Strong communicator and collaborator with demonstrated success in matrix organization

Flexible thinker with ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

BA/BS with MBA preferred

5+ years of experience post MBA, 7+ years BA/BS

Healthcare industry experience in marketing preferred

Hospital target audience experience preferred – includes either clinical operations, IT services, or financial and risk management

DEMONSTRATED BEHAVIORS/EXPERIENCE

Finds the Value – Moves beyond observation to insight and implied action/opportunity for PCMS and Philips

Tells the Story – Customer Marketing and Marketing Strategy background with demonstrated ability to move insight and information into strategy and opportunities – experience building solution level briefing materials for global marketing organizations, markets, agencies, and partners

Owns the Assignment – Desired experience and demonstrated success planning and executing either a business through multiple annual cycles, or new service or product creation projects from concept through launch

Goal Focused – Demonstrated behavior of focus on priorities and goals to deliver value to the organization
