Your Responsibilities

In this role as a Senior Embedded SW/GPU Development Engineer, you will design, implement and test ultrasound components which integrate with the overall feature design and implementation. These tasks will encompass, as necessary, a broad range of software development disciplines including application, driver and other low-level programming, with special emphasis on the signal path development. You will own the successful delivery of the software components as well as all associated multi-phase software process deliverables including software test and requirements management.

This role will be a part of the Ultrasound Platform Development team in Andover, MA.

We are looking for

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 7-10 years in software development engineering including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in implementing signal processing algorithms on GPUs
  • Proven experience with CUDA or OpenCL
  • Parallel programming algorithms and techniques
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists
  • Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of DSP fundamentals and image processing is a plus
  • Experience with adaptive GPU-based signal processing algorithms is a plus
  • Familiarity with medical devices and/or working in a regulated environment a plus
