Job Description

Your Challenge:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for developing project plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely execution of key deliverables within budget, and to established expectations. This position will report in to the Director of Market Operations.

Your Responsibilities:

Lead projects in alignment with go to market key initiatives for the SRC Market teams in possible areas such as:

  • Sales and marketing programs
  • Sales and marketing policy, procedure, or protocol implementations
  • Market-specific new product launch execution planning
  • Strategic customer initiatives execution

Work in conjunction with Market Operations Director to

  • Document and publish project goals
  • Establish timelines and milestones, drive on-time delivery
  • Manage budget(s)
  • Ensure follow-up on measurement of post-implementation impact/KPIs

Identify strategic opportunities across the SRC market, in coordination with the business unit, field marketing, customer relations, operations, supply chain, and all cross functional teams. Coordinate, schedule, budget and launch resources to satisfy project goals, including project milestones, and costs.

Proactively identify and mitigate project risks through effective project management. Obtain feedback from process owners and drive resolution status.

Coordinate and document project meetings and formal project reviews with cross-functional teams to monitor status and progress relative to program objectives. Prepare regular updates to communicate project overviews and status reports to management.

Act as the primary gatekeeper for project issues including coordination, allocation, acceptance and handover of issues to process owners, as well as closure activities, including; sign-off and retention of support efforts for all project issues.

Your Profile:

  • Requires a BS degree in a business, marketing, engineering, or finance discipline; Masters of Science or Business, strongly preferred. Minimum of five years of Project Management experience is required. along with solid understanding of commercial operations.
  • Preferred – Experience leading small and large market/business transformation projects
  • Preferred – Experience managing projects in a medical device and/or regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing technical teams, required.
  • Preferred – Demonstrated experience managing project resources across multiple geographic locations.
  • Ability to influence and drive change across multiple functional departments.
  • Ability to analyze and drive solutions for wide-ranging issues.
  • Strong team orientation toward influencing and negotiating creative solutions within cross-functional organization.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Applications (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word), internet applications and electronic mail systems
