We believe that in order to improve the treatment for some of the most complicated, life altering neurological disorders, we need more personalized and adaptive guidance tools to plan each individual patient's therapeutic journey. As a strategic sales manager for Neuro Diagnostics business, your key challenge will be to understand the Western European market and execute our strategy in the field. This would be a unique opportunity to hone your industry and market knowledge and help establish the key business of Neuro Diagnostics within Philips.

You are responsible for

In this first assignment of 12 months you will be responsible for;

  • Analyze key European markets to prioritize sales targeting
  • Work with sales team to visit customers and extend service model relationship
  • Work closely with the sites to set up and deliver these services

On top of this you will learn to;

  • Go to market strategy and execution
  • Customer interfacing/ sales relationship building

When you walk into work, you will be joining a truly entrepreneurial team of over 330 employees spread around 8 countries, all passionate about defining the future, growing the business and having fun. You will be considered an "early joiner" to the Philips Emerging Business family which plans to expand itself, by approximately 700 members in the next 3 years.

You will be based at our Head Office in Amsterdam.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

We are looking for MBA students (with professional experience of 5-10 years) who finished their MBA study in September 2017 or are about to finish their MBA study and will be available per Q3, September 2018!

  • Commercial experience (sales, marketing, business development), preferably in B2B healthcare segment/ Neuro
  • Willingness to travel and meet customers across Europe
  • Willingness to "roll up sleeves" to perform at all levels and assist in areas outside of core responsibilities.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, Fluency is German/ French is valuable

In this assignment, you are working in a Sales role, which lasts for 12 months. In your next assignment, not yet defined also 12 months, we expect you to go cross border and fulfill a Marketing position.
