Your challenge

To develop and optimize the sales of one or more products to a defined number of distributor accounts for the PCMS (Patient Care Monitoring Solutions) business Unit. Small accounts within a district/area, small national accounts or large strategic Distributor key accounts.

Have an indepth understanding of the customer strategy in the country and defines an account strategy that drives profitable high growth opportunities for Philips as well as operationally managing the execution. The goal is to maximizing the value (top- and bottom-line) of the short & long-term business with the account for Philips.

Your responsibilities

  • Development, maintenance and improvement of relations with existing and potential customers in the assigned Cluster.
  • Responsible for selling the company's products; primary responsibility may include finding, generating and developing new distribution/retail partners in order to sell the company's products to end-users.
  • Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within the distribution or retail sales channel.
  • Creates awareness and demand for company products.
  • Customers may be geographic or named accounts.
  • Regular reporting on sales results and expectations, market and competition and trends to inform about the situation.

Your team

The position is be based in Bogota, Colombia and has full responsibility of the accounts/distributors for PCMS (Patient Care Monitoring Solutions) business Unit in the North Latam territory (Colombia, Ecuador, Central America and Caribbean). Frequent local travel for client meetings will take place. The position works closely and reports directly to the North Latam Commercial Leader for Philips.

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding the Healthcare market.
  • Strong minimum 6 years of background in account management of similar products (Monitoring) in the Healthcare market.
  • Initiative to take the required internal actions, monitor the progress and push for the deliverables.
  • A profile that demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Passion for Healthcare and improving people's lives.
  • Proactive and most important: very organized.
  • Intermediate/Advanced English.
