In this role, you have the opportunity to

PfRP Electrical Engineer improves reliability/quality of the released product.

You are responsible for

  • Analyzing repair/failure data for returned coils, determining reason for return
  • Utilizing structured problem solving techniques, determining root cause of coil failures.
  • Implementing corrective action as required to resolve failures, determining effectiveness of solution.
  • Interfacing with all Philips Invivo site departments (service, production, purchasing, etc.)
  • Documenting new designs and improvements in SAP/Agile systems.
  • Active participation in group projects and tasks.
  • Supporting production and service with technical issues and training
  • Investigating and developing solutions for product related issues, processes, and non-compliant material
  • Providing engineering support for released coil products

This role will be a part of the Engineering Team in Gainesville, FL.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5 or more years in design of R.F. circuits, MR coils, or related medical devices
  • Being well versed with design tools, e.g. Altium, AutoCad, Solidworks, CirCad, etc.
  • Experienced user of Agile PRP tool, along with SAP ERP tool.
