In this role, you have the opportunity to

Manage activities of several New Product Introduction (NPI) teams. Formulate the midterm policy for the NPI discipline and processes, resulting into a strategic plan. Exercises supervision in terms of costs, methods, and staffing; has budget responsibility. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. Leads Supply chain focused resources within NPI. Prepare product introduction operations and investment plans. Supervise, select, develop, coach and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient new product introduction. Work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas and/or customers.

You are responsible for

  • Leads the E2E (end to end) efforts leading to a successful design / manufacturing transfer for an NPI. Effectively collaborates and consolidates the efforts for all key functions that deliver an effective and efficient E2E supply chain (may include the following: procurement engineering, supplier quality, AME, purchasing, etc.)
  • Takes ownership to collaborate with other NPI stakeholders to deliver the overall COGS, Capacity, and Capability project charter targets of the NPI
  • Initially a strong individual contributor / leader role for 1-2 vital few projects within IGT-D to build the capabilities, then work to develop the right organization to support a strong industrialization process for future projects.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering/Business/Operations Management or related discipline, or equivalent; Master's degree a plus
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience
  • Strong process mindset demonstrated in process improvement role or management of complex business projects. Lean/Six Sigma working knowledge required.
  • Experienced in value stream mapping, driving decisions to achieve desired COGS, capacity and capability within the supply chain
  • Proven success in architecting an efficient supply chain E2E
  • Strong change agent that has effectively managed diverse stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
