Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop radiation oncology IT marketing materials, strategies, and processes for supporting sales teams, product demonstrations, and customer evaluations for market leaders globally. Collaborate with product managers on the creation of downstream product messaging and competitive analysis. Provide voice of customer feedback in product development and sales initiatives

You are responsible for

  • Maintain subject matter expertise in clinical Radiation Oncology IT applications, deployment, and industry standards
  • Support Sales efforts and customer adoption of Pinnacle with on-site customer demonstrations, presentations, site visits, and trade show meetings.
  • Provide and prepare, as needed, Voice of Customer input in product development
  • Provide and report in a timely fashion competitive positioning
  • Prepare and provide collateral content and review
  • Provide training on new products and proper configuration support for quoting to sales team
  • Maintain the Pinnacle software trial and product evaluation process and report in a timely fashion the effectiveness of program
  • Maintain marketing demonstration and evaluation servers and laptops
  • Create, maintain, and distribute Philips Radiation Oncology software for global demonstration team
  • Contribute to the completion of RFP, RFI, and IT Surveys or Security Assessments as needed
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of product marketing data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Formulates the product marketing solution for (technical) partial problems that cannot be found by combining previous experiences but by composing newly acquired knowledge.
  • May lead multi-disciplinary change projects in product marketing, managing a number of people. Works independently and provides consultative advice within specific functional areas. Introduces methods/procedures that are new for the organization.
  • Determines feasibility of product marketing concepts or projects.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Must have bachelor's degree or other relevant professional certifications and a minimum 8 plus yrs experience in a clinical environment as a radiology or radiation oncology IT system administrator with medical or imaging physics background.
  • Hands on project leadership experience in managing and deploying enterprise IT software programs, hardware platforms, and/or virtualized server/machine environments
  • Accomplished at creating and/or responding to commercial Requests for Proposals.
  • Preference for Oracle, UNIX, Solaris, Linux, storage, or network administration experience.
  • Working knowledge of radiation oncology clinical practice and products such as linacs, Quality Assurance, PACS, and oncology information systems (OIS)
  • Demonstrated competency in DICOM, IHERO, etc. by way of on the job experience, professional certifications, or trainings.
  • Demonstrated competency in Oracle, UNIX, Solaris, Linux, storage, or network administration by way of on the job experience, professional certifications, or trainings.
  • Domestic and International Travel requirement to customers, tradeshows and other meetings approx. 50+ %
