Your Challenge
Objective
The IT Business Partner in this role provides strategic services to support the requirements of the business partner leaders, including Process compliance, Process improvement, Application convergence and Continuous communication. This role will also actively support the overall transition plans to migration from the current applications to the PIL solutions.
The IT Business Partner plays a crucial role in change requests as well as projects in supporting key users of the different business entities. The following are some of the daily change request activities this role will participate in:
- Support the creation of user requirements and business cases from a business specific perspective
- User acceptance testing
- Deployment and change management
- Training of end-users
- Assist in clarifying and resolving support issues

Process Focus
The IT Business Partner focuses on one or more processes for a specific business entity or specific site. This role provides IT Business Specialist services to all Sleep and Respiratory Care Units with a focus on the following Process Areas:
- Customer Master
- Pre-Sales Processing – including Pricing compliance processes
- Foreign Trade Processing
- Sales Order Processing
- Billing / Invoicing
- Notification / Return Processing
- Pricing
- Pick, Pack, Ship
- Warehouse Management/Inventory Management
Service Management
Key Areas of Responsibility
- In charge of business specific IT demand (changes & projects), aligned with global strategy (User Requirement Specification, Acceptance, Deployment, Training)
- Assist in the deployment of global changes and projects (Participate, Deployment, Training, Management of business participation and change)
- Advise business in and monitor compliance of optimal use of IT tools and process improvements
- In charge for advising on ongoing training user community and representing towards services
- Assist Key Users in clarifying support issues. Monitor to ensure timely and appropriate closure
- Identify improvement opportunities in the local use of IT; deliver on approved programs of improvement.
- Validate that a consistent inventory of the local application landscapes is maintained in Applications Taxonomy
- Drive Application Convergence for the related functional area
Role Overview
- Manage Change Requests and small projects together with central IT Applications organization towards execution
- Assist in deployment of changes and projects on behalf of the business
- Contribute to Operational reviews (cost management, KPI’s)
- Support alignment of business for projects
- Conduct business change management activities
- Cooperate with business personnel on daily basis
- Enhance the usage of existing tools
- Identify best practices
- Identify and coordinate training needs
Location and Travel
This position is based in Murrysville, PA, USA with travel up to 25%
Education and Credentials
- BS in Computer Systems, Engineering, or Business required
- MBA or MS degree a plus
Work Experience
- Multiple years of work experience and full successful project lifecycle implementations in SAP 4.7 or greater
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects to successful completion and to perform in depth systems analysis to enhance and support the installed base of software and processes
- Proven ability to understand and use information technology to satisfy business requirements
- Knowledge of FDA quality system requirements for medical devices in the manufacturing environment a plus
Information Systems Experience
- A high level of computer literacy in standard desktop packages (i.e. Microsoft Office, SharePoint) required
- Knowledge of SAP MM, SD, WM, SM required
- Knowledge of SAP QM, PP, FI, CO a plus
- Knowledge of Esker, Clipper Ship a plus
- Loftware, PDMLink a plus
