Job Description

Operations: Organize and prioritize workload to ensure the physical and administrative tasks involved in cycle counting, reconciliation, adjustments, audits, purges, MRA receiving, De-contamination, De-trash, packaging, RTV PO’s, GIT, GRT, PRR, PRN, Fast-track and/or DAR’s are completed accurately and within agreed time frames.

Ensure inventory accuracy targets are met and results are posted. Ensure location maintenance activities are completed including, setting deletion indicators; routinely walk the area covered by your SAP storage location, looking for proper storage conditions. Perform audits of shelf-life materials for expiration dates. Create, update, adhere to and enforce safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Provide excellent service to our internal and external customers, while working with our internal or external suppliers as required resolving material issues. Ensure all communications are answered promptly, (within 24 hours) and accurately.

Continuous Improvement: Actively engage in the implementation and/or sustaining of a Lean culture to maximize resources, minimize waste, and improve overall operational efficiencies in the end-to-end customer value stream. Ensure responsible storage locations meet and exceed KPI targets. Prepare for, participate in and comply with all internal and external audits and inspections.

Projects: Identify opportunities and successfully lead and/or participate on improvement projects (Kaizen, A3 or other) to meet established cost, time and quality objectives. Projects should align and help support the overall business objectives.

Performance Feedback: Promptly inform management of all situations resulting in slow-downs, work stoppages or missed orders. Reinforce expectations set by management and provide information to management on employee performance as requested.

Engagement Support: Actively plan and/or participate in team activities and meetings. Provide recommendations on individual and/or team accomplishments for recognition. Project a professional image while representing the organization. Maintain a high team spirit and positive motivation.

Contributions to Team Success: Ensure ongoing development and growth by participating in job shadowing and growth assignments. Take the initiative to find additional tasks when primary responsibilities have been completed. Work cross functionally to support the accomplishment of department goals and objectives. Provide guidance and training to other department personnel as required. Promptly inform management of conflict within the workplace.
