Your Team:

The Remote Sales Manager will report directly to the Director, Remote Sales and have a team of direct reports consisting of Medical Consumables (MCS) Inside Sales Account Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the Director of Inside Sales to ensure the appropriate strategies and sales approaches are being implemented.
  • Oversees the Remote Sales MCS team and lead their success.
  • Responsible for achieving individual and team targets.
  • Assist in all talent acquisition and development activities within the Inside Sales team.
  • Develops a clear and comprehensive understanding of our MCS business model and product offerings to successfully market to our customers.
  • Provides leadership and coaching to direct reports within the guidelines of Performance Management policies and processes.
  • Monitors Inside Sales MCS team, calls to ensure quality and appropriate strategies are being used.
  • Acts as an advisor in solving problems with customers and / or team members.
  • Serves as point of contact for all individuals during the Director Inside Sales absence.
  • Receives direction from the Director Inside Sales and allocates resources to meet schedules and goals.
  • Recommends changes to sales policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
  • Follows processes and operational policies in selecting appropriate direction and action
  • Teams-up frequently with functions outside of group to drive operational excellence.
  • Contributes to budget preparation and AOP planning with Director Inside Sales.

Requirements:

Education:

BS/BA level degree in a discipline related to sales, marketing, general

business strongly preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of either professional inside or field sales management experience. Position requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must possess a demonstrated ability to use office equipment including telephone, fax, scanners, copiers, etc. Strong computer skills with practical experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred, Medical and SFDC experience is a plus. Consultative selling skills, required.

Other Requirements:

This position is primarily a Philips office based position that requires use of standard office equipment in order to perform the essential functions of the job. This would include but not be limited to phone systems, personal computer, copiers, fax machines etc. Must be able to travel to field visits, regional meetings and national meetings when requested. Maybe required to drive to locations. Interest and ability to grow into other sales roles.
