The Head of Q&R will work as the leader member of a highly motivated team responsible for managing the complete product lifecycle to ensure success in terms of both revenue growth and the timely release of new products and capabilities. You will support research and operations and as such provide operational Q&R support, consult as a local Quality management System expert assess the quality of QMS documentation and records for a broad range of medical devices as part of your day to day tasks. You'll also collaborate with extended team members in product development, marketing, and other functional partners.

Lead a team of quality engineering professionals within a Patient Care and Monitoring Solutions Business Unit.

To formulate and implement the Business' long-range quality, regulatory and compliance policy

Create Q&R awareness level as determined within the organization.

Provides cross-functional leadership for the Q&R function in all aspects of the BU initiatives

Enforces a quality systems and manages compliance to FDA regulations and other Regulatory Agencies as required, guidelines and policies to all products and operations are consistent with those regulations.

Manages the review and approval of finished products manufactured for and by the company in accordance with their approved specifications; Includes Complaint handling

Manages product recall activities; including recall policies and procedures for the company.

Manage product complaint activities and processes. Direct the Audit Program for the organization.

Ensures that all products to be released are compliant with all the relevant safety and environmental policies and regulations by implementing requirements, conditions and enablers in the Business.

Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinates.

Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation.

Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.

The eICU program is a transformational critical care telehealth program that combines A/V technology, predictive analytics, data visualization and advanced reporting capabilities with Philips' expertise and over 15 years of proven success. The eICU program delivers need-to-know information to caregivers, empowering them to care for the patients who need it most in the moments that matter most. It is a supplement—not a replacement—to the bedside team, offering support to increasingly scarce clinical resources, while reducing mortality, lengths of stay and cost of care.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Bachelor's Degree required - Master's or PhD degree preferred

Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience

CRE / CQE Certification

Working experience in Software development

Track record for Change Management

Ability to influence in a cross-functional organization
