As the incumbent of this Head of Quality & Regulatory (Q&R) role within Philips, Emergency Care and Resuscitation, your challenge will be to manage activities of a broad functional Q&R area through several department Managers.

Working in the medical industry brings much fulfillment, as well as unique challenges. As part of our Healthtech - focused company, you will be responsible for successfully dealing with and managing Philips relationships with approval agencies such as the US Federal Drug Administration (FDA).
Key areas of responsibilities (KARS) for this role include:
- Formulate the medium term policy for his Q&R area, and processes results into a strategic plan.
- Overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.
- Ensure that all products to be released comply with all the relevant safety and environmental policies and regulations by implementing requirements, conditions and enablers in the Business.
- Participate with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures effective achievement of objectives.
- Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
- Develop territory plans and participates in strategic and tactical planning. Regularly interact with executives and/or major customers.

This role will be within the Q&R organization supporting the Emergency Care and Resuscitation (ECR) business as part of our Therapeutic Care business group.

Requires a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience; Master's degree preferred. Leadership skills, experience with management of cross-functional teams. Lean certification preferred, not required; Knowledge of ISO 13485, CFR820
