- In this role, you have the opportunity to
Assist in leading and monitoring the 2nd shift in a manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the work of assembly workers as directed by work center mgmt.
Shift: 2nd shift 3:15pm to 12:15am
You are responsible for
- for coordinating and monitoring the work of Assemblers and/or other area personnel.
- will be responsible for training, teaching and coaching workmanship quality on all work that is completed
- will manage a project that can be handled on an individual basis
- Displaying a high level of imitative, effort and commitment towards completing
- Demonstrating responsible behavior and attention to detail
- ensuring compliance to policies, procedures and work instructions
- Assisting in identifying potential issues to workflow, procedures and documentation
- monitoring safety practices and house keeping
- Will actively participate in one or more improvement teams as a team member
You are a part of Philips Respironics facility working on the 2nd shift..
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
H.S .or GED required, college classes or degree a plus
Min 2- 3 yrs working as a team lead or direct related experience is preferred
2 years Assembler or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with Word, Excel and Outlook and other office systems preferred,
Will frequently move or transport product of ten pounds and sometimes up to 70 pounds
Also should be action oriented, organized, and timely in decision making
