Job Description

Development/Competency Manager to develop people, processes and way of working to achieve operational / functional excellence to deliver consistently and in the most efficient way . Scope is outside Program Increments and limited to own competency area and organizational level practices/initiatives

Key Responsibilities for Competency Development:

  • To mobilize resources to execute PI in respective teams and manages it as needed
  • To be responsible for partner / third party management in BU/BG
  • To ensure recruitment is as budgeted and competencies in the group are developed to meet current and future requirements
  • Provide functional guidance to the scrum teams
  • Competency Development and general management of the team
  • People development and management of his team
  • Ability to execute and manage outcome based projects
  • Responsible for talent management and retention
  • Responsible for removing impediment for the progress of the teams across program increments
  • Responsible for operational excellence /functional excellence – multiple sources of initiatives viz. I&A
  • Responsible for budgeting and AoP plan for respective teams
  • Act as a change agent
  • Facilitates and supports Release planning events as applicable
  • Responsible for high levels of employee engagement
  • Responsible for process compliance, quality and regulatory aspects of the development
