Global Supply Chain Manager, Philips Healthcare, (Highland, Hts, OH)
The Global Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the global planning, purchasing, logistics, warehouse management and order fulfilment functions. Introduce Philips global initiates into CT/AMI business and drive continuous improvement.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Plans, coordinates, and monitors SCM operations to meet annual objectives (e.g. safety, compliance, quality, delivery, cost, NPI, inventory, etc.).
Develops SCM strategies with 1 to 3 year line of sight, and executes programs, projects, plans and metrics to achieve world class performance.
Lead and manage programs and projects that their main charter is to improve business effectiveness, build stronger organization to deliver better performance and better utilization of resources across supply chain operations organization
Requires a master degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management
3-5 years of experience in program/project management.
Green Belt or equivalent training required
PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
Black Belt or equivalent training/certification preferred.
APICS CPIM/CSCP is a plus.
SAP and MS office, relevant credential preferred.
Medical device or regulated industry experience
Extensive knowledge of Philips CT/AMI products (both current & historical), the functional logistics areas, the operational logistics processes, and the business line strategies.
Ability to prioritize production based on client commitments and materials availability.
Understanding of labor planning and estimating.
Familiar with process flow concepts and shop floor controls.
Proficient working knowledge of SAP and MS office.
Familiar with Philips CT/AMI policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Requires excellent organizational and leadership skills coupled with good oral and written communication skills.
A knowledge of logistics and manufacturing principles especially in the areas of lean manufacturing and labor planning.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and financial skills;
Requires understanding of modern quality control methods.
