Your challenge

As the leader and owner of the General Care solution efforts in the Patient Care and Monitoring Solutions Integrated Roadmap, you will define and execute solutions, and team up to create the strategy to win in General Care globally. Your efforts include opportunity definition and quantification, prioritization of opportunity areas, strategy and plan for solution creation, and commercial execution in partnership with relevant PCMS Businesses and Markets.

You will own the content and success of several key milestones in the Philips Solution Creation Process. These include business cases, customer and commercial requirements, value propositions, and go to market planning among others. Working in partnership with the Solution Release Manager, Product and Service Marketing, Business and Market Leadership, and Research and Development, you will lead PCMS’ efforts to build value for customers and Philips in this area.

The role will help drive the creation and execution of customer solutions through defining necessary strategic partners, developing promotional campaigns, optimizing cross and up selling opportunities and work with Businesses, Markets, and Global Sales and Service organizations in Philips to support sales enablement for solutions selling.

Define success and solution roadmap for PCMS in General Care

Deliver creation of the General Care solution strategy and subject through creation of solution projects that are prioritized and funded as part of the annual Strategy and Business Planning processes

Create commercial value for Philips through creation and execution of General Care solution priorities within a gated development and go to market process – includes milestones that define value, opportunity, path to success, and solution architecture

Manage efforts to create commercial success in General Care solutions among matrix of key stakeholders in the PCMS Businesses and Markets including Product and Service Marketing, Market Leadership, and Business Leadership


Creates Tangible Business Value – success moving ideas from concept, through business cases, and development and launch that deliver incremental value to customers and Philips

Effectively Moves Process and Relationships – success in gated decision making processes among various stakeholders that require coalition of agreement among disparate business and market viewpoints

Demonstrated Expertise and Success Creating Solutions and Offerings – track record of commercially successful solutions and/or offerings in market, leadership in building concepts and business cases from customer problems to be solved

Customer Value Advocate – thinks from customer standpoint always asking and answering preference and value creation questions

BA/BS with MBA preferred

10+ years of experience post MBA, 15+ years BA/BS

Healthcare industry experience required including knowledge and experience in clinical software

Multiple year management and success of planning and execution on existing or new businesses with record of success

New product/solution and offering success with demonstrated in market results

Experience designing key messages, value propositions and customer positioning
