Job Description

We are looking for a person who can enhance our company’s move into the world of connected products from the technical perspective of testing apps and connections to a backend infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who likes to be involved from the beginning and influence the projects he works on.

The following are some of the expectations for this position:

  • Collaborating with project team, designers, 3rd parties, and stakeholders to map out definition of done for epics/features/user stories for app.
  • Review of test cases with release train test architect for testing coverage and applicability.
  • Review third party testing methodology prior to integration including test cases, coverage, results, documentation, etc.
  • Communicate to stakeholders overall testing status of app at appropriate intervals during development cycle.
  • Ensure testing meets definition of done for the epics/features/user stories, documentation meets regulatory purposes, and integrated builds have not broken features.
  • Communicate to stakeholders overall testing status of app at appropriate intervals during development cycle.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and advise on implementation of new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable experience
  • 7+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of testing in Android, iOS, and/or Windows platforms.
  • Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development regulations and testing methodology
  • Strong communication & presentation skills. Ability to manage stakeholders via communication skills
  • Strong outsourcing and/or agency management experience
  • LEAN Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAFe is a plus.
