Job Description

Philips is seeking a Clinical Education Zone Project Manager to be based in the Northeast Region*.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Provide consulting services to Sales in the order acquisition phase to help clarify customer requirements and workflow, and to determine the customer's educational training needs.

  2. Represent Clinical Education in the pre-installation process to Sales, Service, and the customer. Support the customer in preparation for equipment handover. Ensure that Clinical Education commitments and mutual responsibilities are fully understood. Communicate unique circumstances, customer requests, or third-party coordination to field training staff.

  3. Partner with Sales, Service, Marketing, and customers to meet ongoing educational requirements throughout the product lifecycle. Follow-up on Clinical Education survey issues. Lead Clinical Education response to escalated issues. Perform root cause analysis. Lead the development and execution of recovery plans. Travel to customer sites as needed. Develop and provide non-system training to assist customer in meeting Continuing Education requirements for their staff. Requires frequent travel to customer sites. Champion Clinical Education Life Solution sales. Provide Life Solution quotes to address training recommendations. Drive Life Solution sales through the Sales, Service, and Clinical Education channels.

  4. Lead the development of new or revised processes to address customer education issues. Lead Clinical Education projects to develop leadership within the Zone staff as defined by Manager. Mentor the Zone staff. Assist manager with coverage.

  5. 75% travel is required.

Candidate Profile

  1. Strong organization skills: Take initiative and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a demanding environment. Consistently meet deadlines.

  2. Strong communication skills: Effectively engage with customers, our Sales and Service organizations, and Clinical Education on clinical, technical, and customer satisfaction issues. Add value and instill confidence in these relationships. Deal with a diverse set of problematic circumstances that surround difficult or demanding customer situations in a friendly and constructive manner.

  3. Education & experience: ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent with five years industry experience preferred. Bachelors Degree in Radiological Technology or equivalent education preferred. Project management experience preferred.

  4. Working knowledge of the adult education process is preferred.
  • Candidates can live anywhere within the territory as long as it is within close proximity to a major airport. The territory includes Connecticut, DC, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. There is a strong preference for the candidates to be located in the NYC/Philadelphia area.
