An opportunity exists for a business development specialist to accelerate market penetration of clinical analytics. Our first product in this portfolio is IntelliSpace Console, which is a comprehensive solution that combines cloud-based clinical decision support platform, evidence-based clinical algorithms, and clinical transformation consulting services. This is a pivotal role in the organization to accelerate the adoption of clinical analytics and shape our Go-To-Market strategy and the direction Philips takes in this exciting and growing industry within healthcare.

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the E2E sales engagement between BIU and markets to ensure opportunity development and closure. Tracks and maintains opportunity list and management reporting.
  • Is product champion/specialist for the sales organization and collaborates closely with the account executives (AE) to ensure targeted market development.
  • Helps define the sales engagement process together with the BIU, HTS, and Market to drive a solutions-based sales approach and develop the necessary documentation to govern the process.
  • Supports the account executives with necessary sales collateral and training and collaborates with both product marketing and field marketing to ensure targeted market development.
  • Works together with markets, product management and BIU leadership to shape business strategy and market development plans.
  • Develop strong relationships with KOLs to aid product development and customer preference feedback.
  • Contribute to account plans where applicable.
  • Help develop and coordinate reference site development and peer-to-peer engagements
  • Presents updates to management on engagement and sales development.


  • 10+ year business development experience selling to managed care/hospital organizations by engaging key contributors in a consultative sales engagement
  • Demonstrated strategic selling skills including customer presentations, price quoting, product demonstration, negotiation, and closing
  • Knowledge Healthcare Information Systems. Clinical experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage multiple clinical and C-Suite stakeholders within the health system. Build strong relationships with key decision makers.
  • Comfortable in a matrix environment and works effectively across organizational boundaries
  • Strong desire to win and motivated to drive successful deal closure
  • Ability to think creatively and effective problem solver
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Able to travel
