Assembler V, 2nd Shift

Job Description

You are responsible for
Support production/operations to cover outages or to increase cell capacity
Generate and report on cell performance in standups
Coordinate cell level quality improvements to reduce defects
Provide individual performance and productivity input to the supervisor
Assist in identifying gaps in skill sets and ensure training is received
Lead A3 and other continuous improvement teams to reduce waste, develop standardized work, and improve efficiency
Execute risk management plans

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment is desired
Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Kan Ban systems and process flow mapping (Highly Desirable)
Ability to establish trust and credibility within your teams, peers and leaders
Good communication skills with peers, management and teams across all levels
Ability to read/write and understand English
