Position Responsibilities
- Provide project planning, management, communication, and coordination support to enterprise IT initiatives
- Gather component-level information related to IT portfolio and investment management for review and analysis including governance, budget, contract, and human capital information
- Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with senior-level business and IT stakeholders within the components
- Support the planning, development, and implementation of FITARA within the department
- Gather component-level information related to IT portfolio and investment management for review and analysis including governance, budget, contract, and human capital information
- Provide recommendations for program, governance, and investment management improvement
- Provide advice on the design of repeatable IT portfolio and investment analyses and selection of tools, as required
- Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with senior-level business and IT stakeholders within the components
- Create a wide variety of complex documents including reports, spreadsheets, and presentations that require significant working knowledge of program management principles
- Support the development of progress, accomplishments, and similar reporting tools to communicate program plans, activities, or performance
- Establish client relationships; and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Proactively prioritize project tasks and identify project issues and risks
- Conduct research, analyze information needs, and perform analysis to support the delivery of relevant artifacts including business process diagrams, reports, and presentation
- Review and edit documents developed by others to ensure accuracy and quality of content, organization, language, format consistency, and conformance with established standards
- Ensure project deliverables have a timely and successful completion; coordinate communications between client, project team, and internal operations

Position Requirements
- 5 years of diverse consulting experience in a business analyst role with experience conducting data gathering, analysis, and development of recommendations in technology-oriented environment
- Bachelor degree in a related discipline
- Experience supporting a Federal IT client while working for a consulting organization
- Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating stakeholder workshops
- Experience with intergovernmental projects and OMB communications and reporting is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines and minimal supervision
- Candidates must be able to work on-site at Federal agency located in Washington, D.C. and must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal public trust or pass a background investigation
- Previous experience in consulting services performing analytical and business process analysis
- Ability to enter client environment and recommend business process change
- Ability to build and maintain trusting and value added client relationships
- Perform detailed business analysis functions including development of business process models and functional documentation
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and delivery management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
