What We Are Looking For: 

Persado is looking for a Senior Director of Customer Success based in New York or San Francisco. This is a key role and is responsible for driving adoption and growth of Persado, by demonstrating value and developing senior-level relationships, within our broad customer base, including many Fortune 500 companies.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be bright, ambitious, self-driven, hard-working and flexible, and have the following qualifications: 

  • At least 2 years of strategic consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm
  • A total of at least 10 years of successful experience working with and influencing senior leadership in Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies
  • Autonomously produced client proposals; you are also a natural storyteller
  • Experience in establishing and growing senior-level client relationships (CMO, CEO, SVP, etc.), being seen as a trusted advisor and leading senior conversations without assistance
  • Led a client or regional client team;  Experience in collaborating on pitches and brainstorming solutions for accounts or regions
  • Led commercial negotiations and handled client objections with ease 
  • Is data-driven; seeks out solutions & defends decisions with data and is very comfortable with financial business cases, ROI calculations and data analysis
  • Very comfortable in managing up, and representing your point of view to senior management in reviews and strategy sessions
  • Good at multi-tasking, managing many aspects of client engagements across several cross-functional groups, including client teams
  • Exhibits strong Challenger Sale and/or Consultative Sale approach to grow existing clients’ businesses
  • Presents very organized and structured thinking for planning and execution purposes 
  • Strong ability to anticipate issues and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Nice to Haves:

  • Account management (i.e: expanding existing clients), sales, and/or business development experience
  • Industry experience in digital marketing, email strategy, and/or in a leadership role with an infrastructure player (i.e: email service provider)
  • Expertise in a vertical (i.e: retail, financial services, technology, etc.)
  • MBA or relevant graduate degree in marketing or business

What We Want You To Do:

  • Own enterprise client relationships and ensure their success in using Persado solutions
  • Be a crucial part of the Customer Success team; manage a team and lead Persado’s most strategic customers 
  • Act as “CEO of the account” by developing and executing detailed account plans with command of all elements (i.e. authorizers/influencers across lines of business, client strategy, opportunities, defined client success)
  • Collaborate with internal team members, including solutions consulting, value engineering, operations, and sales to deliver against objectives
  • Build long term strategic client partnerships while delivering/expanding account revenue targets
  • Liaise with legal teams on enterprise contracts and related legal discussions
  • Achieve high client satisfaction (referenceability, advocacy, Net Promoter, etc.)
  • Build and maintain key client relationships, and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
  • Develop multi-channel (“Persado Everywhere”) opportunities that drive client revenue and uplift and elevate the client’s brand(s) 
  • Own the business case and plan, including upsells, renewals, and cross-sells across the client’s organization
  • Limited travel, <20% depending on client and role
