Genetic Counselor

Position Responsibilities :

  1. Analyze and interpretate of testing report, evaluate genetic disease risk and prognosis for clinical doctors and our customers;

  2. Assist in disease diagnosis, provide the corresponding health guidance and service management;

  3. Track the latest international medical progress and the research dynamic, build and maintain the relevant database;

  4. Train lab technicians in genetic counseling;

  5. Any other relevant tasks assigned by supervisor.

Education Required :

  1. Minimum 3 years of clinical experience or has the qualifications of medical practitioners or has genetic counselor certificate;

  2. Have a good knowledge of molecular biology and genetics;

  3. Have rich experience in genetics, can provide certain genetic counseling services to the customers and the experiment results analysis;

  4. Possess good communication skill;

  5. Give priority to those with Medical Licence and clinical backgrounds;

  6. Give priority to those work in hospital;

  7. Give priority to those do prenatal and pediatric and related subjects.

  8. Master degree or above;

  9. Major in clinical medicine or biology related fields, specialises in genetics and clinical practice;

  10. Fluent reading medical related foreign literature.
