Engineering Intern Fall 2017-- Process Engineering

SUMMARY

Seeking an individual to join process and manufacturing engineering department. The candidate will perform basic engineering duties to support the goals of the microfluidic, automation, and imaging engineering team. Specific skills will include a strong background in mathematics, physics, and/or core engineering coursework. Candidate will work as a process engineering for a high volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Candidate will be involved in ongoing activity to study line capacity and flow for process and yield improvements. Tasks will involve:

  • Equipment Assembly and Set-Up
  • Running Designed Experiments and Verification Tests
  • Collecting, Summarizing, and Analyzing Data
  • Producing Process and Manufacturing Documents
  • Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis of problems

Job Requirements :

  • Enrolled in a BS degree program in Engineering
  • CAD experience (SolidWorks) a plus
