Overview

This is a fully remote (US) role

This role will support the Associate Creative Directors and Creative Director. Partnering with Copywriters in the creative development process for several Frito-Lay brands. We're looking for a savvy creative with a hunger to learn and the ability to conceptualize ideas and carry them through execution with masterful craft.

To succeed in this role, you'll need the ability to develop creative concepts that are insightful, relevant, innovative, and effective. In addition to extraordinary design skills, you'll need a keen eye for consumer behavior trends and bring big idea thinking to the table. The work will often be on multiple projects, an attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills along with great communication and presentation skills are important for this position.

What You'll Do

  • Create culture-driving, business-building, big brand work in every medium, from broadcast and web video, to targeted social and influencer campaigns, to attention-getting activations.
  • Concept and produce content at the forefront of new media, technology and is socially driven
  • See your ideas through from concept to execution, working with other departments including social strategists, account leads, and other internal and external partners
  • Collaborate with our team to bring to life ideas in social, digital, TV, and retail as needed
  • Proactively identify opportunities to tap into or incorporate the latest trends in pop culture, creativity, executional approaches & techniques, and broader inspirations, innovations and interruptions
  • Champion and contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion, personal growth, winning, and fun

Responsibilities

  • Support the Associate Creative Director with the development of concepts, designs, and client presentations
  • Present work to internal agency team partners, brand team, and any other stakeholders for approvals / to sell the work
  • Become a brand expert and familiarize yourself with client's needs, target audiences, competitors, category trends, and current brand research
  • Develop design solutions that adhere to best practices across media and platforms
  • Ensure top-tier creative output that adheres to brand standards
  • Meet brand objectives
  • Participates in brainstorm sessions
  • Delivers completed assignments on time

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,000 to $85,200 based on a full-time schedule
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out Annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Art Director at a top-tier agency or brand
  • A love of social media and film
  • A strong ability to concept and execute multiple ideas quickly
  • Positive attitude and a sense of humor
  • The visual skills and attention to detail to execute superbly in a variety of mediums
  • The flexibility to work as part of a team one day, independently the next. You adapt to new ideas, processes and business problems with ease and enthusiasm
  • Determination, ingenuity, and a great attitude in the face of obstacles
  • The optimism to think bigger, the curiosity to dig deeper, and the passion to do better
  • Proficiency with the appropriate Mac-based tools of your trade (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, Sketch, Keynote, et al)
  • Strong comping skills required
  • Experience in broadcast and video production are huge

Education

  • Minimum Qualification: BS/MS Degree(s)
