Senior Manager, Last-Mile Fulfillment

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Peloton, our expansive fulfillment network is designed to provide our customers with a great "last mile" experience, from scheduling delivery to the in-home experience.  The Senior Manager, Last Mile Fulfillment is responsible for managing our 3PL partner, and achieve best-in-class customer satisfaction.
 
This is a high visibility role, working closely with internal teams at Peloton, across Member Experience and Logistics, and 3PL corporate and warehouse teams.  With new product introductions or service models, the Sr. Mgr Last Mile Fulfillment works with the 3PL to integrate a new product or service into the existing system.
 
The position will require a hands-on contributor who can simultaneously focus on big-picture strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

3rd Party Relationship Management

  • Manage the non-asset based Last Mile Fulfillment network spanning delivery markets across the US & Canada
  • Source and negotiate Last Mile 3PL contracts

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive operational improvement opportunities across the Last Mile network
  • Develop performance scorecards/SLAs & drive the performance management process
  • Analyze key performance metrics to root cause performance issues and drive change
  • Act as business owner for technology strategy to streamline Last Mile operations & visibility
  • Contribute to the development of tools and processes which make the team more efficient

New Initiatives

  • Project manage key company initiatives and product launches related to the fulfillment network
  • Drive all customer experience improvement initiatives through the 3PL network

Strategy

  • Support the design and implementation of the long term fulfillment strategy (asset and non-asset based)
  • Build best practices model for fulfillment, supporting growth of the company 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7-10 year experience in managing fulfillment operations
  • Experience managing a 3PL relationship
  • Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems
  • Strong verbal communication
  • Extremely organized, meticulous and detailed oriented
  • Ability to work effectively with people in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to lead discussions and communicate effectively
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
