Senior Solutions Consultant

The Position:

This role is a part of a specialist pre-sales team that works with the Next-Best-Action Marketing, Real Time Decisioning and Predictive Analytics solutions across EMEA. The role will involve frequent face-to-face contact with customers and partners and requires the ability to present, explain and prove our value, build relationships and overcome obstacles to change. It includes creating value propositions, business cases, visioning demos and proof of concepts, presenting and demonstrating our solutions to customers

In this role, you will:

  • Manage multiple accounts within multiple industries to drive the revenue for Next-Best-Action Marketing and Decisioning sales across EMEA
  • Propose decision management solutions to meet clients' needs and serve as the product expert to prospective clients
  • Assist the sales team in creating account strategies, developing a Next-Best-Action marketing vision and Decisioning
  • Deliver POCs and demonstrations to meet the scope and functionality to ensure that all success criteria are delivered and product differentiators are included
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineering, marketing, consulting, business officers to ensure the successful execution of the sales strategy
  • Provide thought leadership within the supported function

The Person:

This person must be an expert in conveying the value proposition of software to marketing executives at some of the most reputable companies across the EMEA. This person is skilled in areas of digital marketing, decision management, inbound & real-time marketing, predictive analytics & data mining or campaign management. Most importantly, this person will have a dynamic personality and has the passion to succeed within a highly demanding and challenging environment.

Qualifications will include:

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing or Decisioning business applications with a focus toward pre-sales, delivery or hands on business end user roles at an Enterprise Software vendor, Consultancy or Software Integrator
  • A track record in driving high business impact and transformation through disruptive innovations such as real-time decisioning, real-time marketing and predictive analytics
  • Preferable experience with IBM Marketing (Marketing Cloud/Unica/SilverPop etc), SAS Customer Intelligence, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Epiphany, Oracle Real Time Decisioning
  • Experience and willingness to get into data science, machine learning, big data technologies
  • Business acumen and an ability to proactively develop customer relationships by listening to, understanding and anticipating, and providing solutions to customer needs
  • Willingness to travel 50-75% across EMEA
  • BA or MA/MSc in a quantitative field preferred (AI, Computer Science, Economics, Quantitative Marketing studies, Science etc.)
