The Supply Chain Risk Analyst will coordinate executive dashboards and report outs for supplier capacity and financial evaluations to provide visibility to leadership.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrate broad understanding of business requirements or critical elements of a situation; identify the potential risk and impact across all areas of the business and recommend improvements to existing processes.
  • Communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Research, design, develop, validate, and implement tools and models to predict, quantify, or forecast various operational and performance metrics, solve complex problems, and drive actionable results.
  • Data collection and analysis thru excel and other systems to collect data on supplier capabilities, with the ability to extract information to identify issues and facilitate swift action.
  • SharePoint owner and systems expert, to communicate supplier information internally and provide a platform for collaboration company-wide pertaining to supplier capabilities.
  • Drive development of supplier profiles, including platform, process and templates, thereby enhancing the quality of decision making relative to sourcing and management of suppliers
  • Project/Risk Management for assigned suppliers to mitigate supply and financial impacts.
  • Provide impactful data visualizations intuitively communicating analytical insights, telling compelling stories, reinforcing logical recommendations, and driving informed actions.
  • Identifying and analyzing complex business problems and associated risks; and defining the scope of activities required to both address these and meet key stakeholder needs.
  • Build dashboards and automated reports to provide statuses to procurement organization to identify and target actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement culture by developing, documenting, and implementing new tools or processes in a way that maximizes team adoption and serves as a reference for future projects.
  • Find, pull, crunch, and interpret large amounts of historical and predictive data from a variety of sources to develop insights, make recommendations and answer key business questions.
  • Drive systems development and process improvements.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Position Purpose and Requirements:

This role will support one or more of the following functions: material and services sourcing, procurement, supplier management, production planning, transportation, inventory control, distribution, and process reengineering.

Basic Requirements:
  • At least 2-4 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience.
  • Bachelors degree.
  • Master degree is preferred.

Desired Skills:
  • Advanced Excel and Access skills.
  • Supply Chain Risk experience.
  • Strong business acumen, with particular emphasis on procurement.
  • Knowledge of automotive/transportation manufacturing industry a plus.
  • Strong analytical approach.
  • Data/statistical analysis.
  • Stress Management/Composure.
  • Ability to run statistical models using Excel.
  • ERP system experience but will train the right candidate.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
