Leads company business at the site level. Builds and maintains customer relationships in order to grow the revenue and manage operational budget. Provides team with leadership and support to ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Leads the Site Safety Program.
  • Drives the company' s business strategy at site.
  • Adds value to customers by aligning maintenance goals with their production and business objectives.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with customers in order to maximize profitability, and achieve high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manages financial performance of the site (revenue, expenses, and profit) to achieve set objectives.
  • Works with team to investigate and develop cost savings opportunities.
  • Designs, implements, and executes site level maintenance plan including corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance processes, to improve production equipment reliability.
  • Acts as primary customer contact for the site and also manages site escalations.
  • Responsible for communicating with customer through daily, weekly, monthly meetings.
  • Conducts a formal monthly review of the performance matrices with customers and interfaces with customer plant leadership.
  • Analyzes and reports maintenance key performance indicators including analysis for root cause. Delivers on related action items, removes barriers, and addresses issues.
  • Manages outsourced contracts as defined in the site agreement.
  • Works with Sales to develop opportunities for increasing sales at the site.
  • Manages the maintenance parts procurement and storeroom functions.
  • Drives a continuous improvement methodology and promote cost savings at the site location.
  • Leads the team at the site. Manages employee performance and development. Works with individuals on career planning, training, skills development, and ongoing one-on-one communication.
  • Develops and maintains business relationship with all business units to utilize their services.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Behaviors Required:
  • Bachelor Degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Previous experience with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Six Sigma preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications, web-based applications, and CMMS software.
  • Geographic mobility required.
  • May be required to travel approximately 20% of the time.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, or sit for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to use close vision. Work is typically performed in a factory environment and is usually very loud. In the factory environment, the employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors.
