Professional Land Surveyor

The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor and feel comfortable working in the field.


  • Perform multiple survey activities with minimal or no supervision

  • Boundary, topographic, and construction surveys for public and private clients

  • Work may include preparation of CAD survey drawings

  • Perform field survey activities in accordance with standards set by state statutes and the American Congress of Surveying and Mapping

  • Must have the ability to act independently in the field.

  • Interpret survey maps and construction plans

  • Select/Manage external equipment and vehicles  

  • Supervise the Survey Crews use of equipment, preparation of sketches and notes, and electronic data collection

  • Communicate updates and aspect of the project

  • Ability to work extended hours as required to meet client, project and/or business demands

  • Strong communication skills


  • PLS required

  • Valid Driver's License

  • 5 or more years of Survey Experience

  • Previous experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Equipment

  • An Associate's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or related degree is required
