Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and continuous improvement of the purchasing process landscape including used methods and tools in the region Americas.
  • Identification, elaboration and support on tapping the potentials of further process improvements, purchasing internally but also comprehensively in the interfaces to other business partners.
  • Contribution to the further improvement of the information infrastructure and data transparency in Purchasing.
  • Cooperation on the build up of an KPI system for Purchasing in the area of customer solutions.
  • Determination of the maturity level of purchasing units in the region and elaboration of improvement plans including the support on their execution.
  • Development of training concepts and their execution.

Experience and Skills:
  • Engineering studies completed with a bachelors degree in industrial engineering or equivalent a must, masters degree a plus.
  • 4-7 years of professional experience in the area of consulting or auditing related services as well as project management.
  • High ability of analytical, conceptual and comprehensive thinking.
  • Self-motivated, an influencer and problem solver.
  • Manufacturing Industry Experience a must, Automation experience a plus
  • Advanced SAP and MS office skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • International work experience a plus.
  • Ability travel up to 25% Domestic and International.
