Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing accurate mechanical In-process and Final/Receiving Inspections in a timely fashion.
  • Conducting and submitting First Article Inspection Reports to customers.
  • Using the internal Quality Management Software (SimpleTrak) to report and update all nonconformances.
  • Ensure NCR' s are forwarded to the MRB members in a timely manner.
  • Using the internal Quality Management Software for all internal and external calibrations.

Education and/or Experience:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years working in a machine shop environment with at least 1 year of experience preforming mechanical inspection or equivalent technical training for Quality Control.
  • Must have knowledge of ASME Y14.5M Dimensioning and Tolerancing, Mil-Specs.
  • Have a good understanding of a ISO/AS9100 Quality Management System.
  • Have a good understanding of geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Have a good understanding of various finishes such as plating and passivation.
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong multi-task skills.
  • Have a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Be able to work off and written schedule without direction.
  • Be able to work with minimum supervision.
