Electrical Systems Engineer


The Electrical/Systems Engineer II develops requirements, researches, plans, develops, analyzes and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including:

  • displays
  • sensors
  • processors,
  • interface units
  • other electronic devices
  • circuitry components
  • analog and digital computers
  • control and test equipment
  • Perform requirements management using industry tools such as DOORS or organic tools
  • Conceptualize, analyze, design, and oversee semi-complex systems level architecture design.
  • Follow internal systems engineering procedures for carrying out various SE responsibilities
  • Assist Senior Engineers with the integration of complex systems
  • Component obsolescence analysis
  • Develop Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), and run validation testing
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Manage an Engineering Project, controlling cost, schedule, and technical risk
  • Create procedures for carrying out various systems engineering tasks
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Proficiency with requirements management using tools such as DOORS or organic tools
  • Proficiency with Technical writing and development of Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Component obsolescence analysis
  • C++, LabVIEW and Test Stand Preferred
  • Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office include MS Projects
  • Working knowledge of electrical analysis packages
  • Bachelor' s Degree and 5+ years of experience required
  • Specific Degree Field: Systems/Electrical Engineering
