CNC Mill Machinist

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for planning highly complex and exacting job setups and override program setting as related to tool feeds and speeds.
• Pulls required fixtures, holding devices, and materials.
• Inserts tool holders or installs pre-set tools in machine.
• Sets and sharpens tools, as necessary.
• Adjusts tool travel distances.
• Writes, modifies, and inputs required program instructions.
• Monitors machine operations and inspects machined parts to ensure job specification maintenance.
• Selects from a variety of standard methods to inspect intricate parts.
• Improves machining method and builds special form tools, as needed.
• Highly organized individual with excellent communication skills.
• Additional machining responsibilities as needed.

• 
  Minimum 5 years of experience related to above duties
  
• High school diploma, 2 years trade school or equivalent or combination of education and experience.
• Able to read blueprints and basic computer knowledge.
• Must exhibit good judgment, and personal and professional integrity. Self-motivated (independent).
• Good communications skills.
