Design and implement next generation platform security products to enable PayPal's product development. Develop innovative solutions and high quality products alongside core security architecture and engineering teams that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability and reliability. Design, implement, and test next generation key management product features to secure sensitive data. Quality code reviews to validate against the secure coding guidelines, ensuring that the code conforms to the design. Triage and fix production issues.
Primary Job Responsibilities :
Contribute to the development and quality deliverables
Participate in the design and development of one or more product features or sub-systems
Produce code that is sufficiently supported by unit tests
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the project
Participate in demonstration of completed work to stakeholders
Supporting adjacent teams by answering questions
Participate in peer code reviews
Triage and solve live issues
Participate fully in all scrum team activities
Education and Experience
• Bachelors in computer science with 5+ years of experience or Masters in computer science and 3+ years of experience in the industry;
Knowledge of Applied Cryptography a must
• Experience as a developer - NodeJs and/or Java
• Working knowledge of Linux, Git, Jenkins, Docker, JUnit, Maven
• Quick learner
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• Work with cross-functional teams
• Team Player
• Eagerness to learn and go extra mile to accomplish goals
