We’re looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join Pandora’s Ad Buying Platform team, which is responsible for bringing the largest chunk of revenue to Pandora. You'll have a huge impact on the quality of Pandora’s growing suite of products and services by acting as a champion of quality engineering & testing activities throughout SDLC. You will leverage your knowledge of manual & automated testing to influence better software design, promote best practices, bug prevention strategies, testability, and other advanced quality concepts across products.


  • Minimum 7+ years professional Quality experience
  • Exceptional ability to isolate & troubleshoot technical issues across the full technology stack by leveraging automated & manual testing methodologies
  • Develop Test Automation frameworks from an end to end perspective
  • Expert-level test automation experience using Java, Selenium / WebDriver & TestNG
  • Experience in developing API-level automated tests
  • Maintain & extend Java Selenium while promoting Maintainability, Flexibility, and Scalability
  • Thorough understanding of the SDLC and tools, including code repositories, branching and merging, build systems, and defect tracking systems
  • Follow engineering best practices and provide technical mentorship to other team members
  • Exceptional ability to isolate and troubleshoot technical issues across the full technology stack
  • A track record of success, including the ability to self-direct day-to-day activities and multitask effectively
  • Demonstrated initiative and follow-through on process improvements
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Bonus Points:

  • Working knowledge of Advertising concepts such as orders, trafficking and targeting
  • Previous exposure to CI technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo)
