As a Senior Product Manager for Consumer Electronics, you have an exciting opportunity to bring Pandora to the many devices that our consumers enjoy music on. You’ll work closely with CE device manufacturers, voice services and other innovators to identify the right technologies to invest in to enable a best-in-class in-home experience. You’ll leverage your learnings in the CE space to identify the right consumer technologies to partner with, and collaborate with their teams to create compelling listener experiences. Listener behavior is evolving and this role is central to driving adoption in an exciting growth area.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and communicate a product vision and roadmap that inspires and focuses creativity and investment in the Consumer Electronics space

  • Use analytics and insights, industry expertise, and personal experience to drive Pandora’s connected home strategy

  • Drive a cross functional team comprised of business development, engineering, design, marketing, data science and user support

  • Earn the trust of key partners across the company by understanding their perspectives and providing a compelling rationale for product decisions

  • Identify and proactively take on initiatives in a growing and rapidly changing environment

  • Formulate and articulate detailed requirements for product concepts that appeal to millions of users, each of whom have unique musical tastes

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of product management experience within consumer electronics/products

  • An innovation mindset with the ability to assess the value of candidate product concepts

  • Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to drive and influence key decisions across engineering, design, science, product and other stakeholders

  • Experience communicating with executive stakeholders and investors, anticipating questions and articulating decisions with supporting rationale; high-attention to detail

  • Strong collaborator with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience working closely with consumer electronics partners and device manufacturers

  • A passion for music

  • Experience with voice-activated technologies preferred

  • MBA and/or MS degree in HCI, Computer Science, Product Design, or related technical field preferred
