Summary of Job Scope and Expectations:

The Real Estate Analyst position is responsible for providing financial analysis, market viability studies, underwriting, and sensitivity analysis on all existing and proposed development projects. This position assists CFT Real Estate & Development by providing analysis that promotes the accuracy and timeliness of the planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring processes within the department.

Descriptions

  • Provides financial analysis, market viability studies, underwriting, and sensitivity analysis on all existing and proposed development projects. Coordinates financing and underwriting activities to fund projects and acquisitions and assists in preparing presentations.
  • Provides planning, forecasting, and analytical support on real estate transactions to CFT Real Estate & Development management and staff. Performs profit and loss analysis/identification and problem resolution.
  • Works with CFT Real Estate & Development to process and monitor market opportunities; coordinates with Legal, Licensing, Operations, and external parties to complete all activities needed to close a transaction. Facilitates community plan and budget preparation.
  • Works closely with internal and external accounting professionals to structure transactions for the appropriate accounting treatment. Provides information to lending institutions and REITS as required.
  • Assists on projects of various size, complexity, and priority.
  • Develops and refines analysis templates to enhance presentation of department projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the retail/hospitality environment
