Summary of Job Scope and Expectations:

The Associate Recruiter position is responsible for recruiting for temporary, non-exempt and some exempt positions. This position is also responsible for creating a successful college intern program and providing assistance as needed to Support Center HR, including assistance with job postings, initial phone screenings for candidates, and other HR related support.

Descriptions

  • Provides assistance to the Support Center HR team on recruiting efforts, conducting initial phone screens and interviews candidates. May conduct new hire orientations and reference/background checks as well as attend college recruiting events to represent PRG and identify potential candidates.
  • Leads the temporary staffing for the Support Center, including posting positions, sourcing resumes, interviewing, and identifying qualified candidates based on hiring managers' expectations and budget.
  • Responsible for Support Center college intern program, including intern budget, recruitment, and selection of 5 – 10 qualified summer interns who are compatible with PRG's mission and culture. Works with department managers to identify intern opportunities.
  • Provides general support to the HR team, including processing Support Center unemployment claims, managing HR invoices, and other support activities as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum one to two years of HR experience
  • Successful completion of annual store training
