Prisma Access™ extends the protection of our next-generation security platform. Prisma Access operationalizes the deployment by leveraging a cloud-based security infrastructure operated by Palo Alto Networks. It uses cutting-edge public and private cloud technologies extending the next generation security protection to all cloud services, customers on-premise remote networks and mobile users.
We are seeking a Technical Manager to help lead, design, develop and deliver next-generation technologies within our Prisma Access team. We want a passionate engineer who loves to code and build phenomenal products and bring new ideas to all facets of software development. We are looking for leaders who take ownership of their areas of focus and who are driven to solve problems at every level. Collaboration and partnership are at the foundation of our culture and we need engineers who can communicate at a high level and work well with others towards achieving a common goal.
- Responsible for leading a team of UI Engineers in the design and development of the User Interface of the management software for Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma Access
- Contribution for complex web software development
- Design, develop and maintain web framework
- Design, develop and maintain web applications
- Work with different development and quality assurance groups to achieve the best quality
- Suggest and implement improvements to development processes
- Prior Management experience
- Prior experience in web-based GUI development, preferably for a networking appliance
- Proficiency in PHP
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing frameworks from the ground up
- Experience with XML is a plus
- Needs to have the ability to independently debug development issues
- S./B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
