Senior Accounts Payable Analyst

We are looking to add an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to our team. This role is critical to the Accounting organization’s success as the company continues to rapidly grow and disrupt the network security industry. A successful candidate will have the ability to drive impactful change by participating in critical global accounts payable projects, cross functional partnering, and further drive efficiencies to our global Accounts Payable operations through process optimization and standardization initiatives.

 Responsibilities:

  • Super-user for the accounts payable invoicing tool to drive resolution of system/process issues by identifying, testing, and implementing enhancements;
  • Partner closely with information technology team on projects and attend regular status meetings
  • Act as first point of escalation for issues or questions from our internal and external customers including local and regional accounts payable teams;
  • Partner and maintain strong relationships with internal customers such as employees, FP&A, procurement, and receiving personnel;
  • Process global vendor invoices and perform customer service for designated letter set with high efficiency and quality paying close attention to country specific VAT requirements;
  • Document procedures and disseminate training to local and regional team members including new team-members;
  • Monitor and communicate GR/IR balances with team-members and provide direct assistance as needed;
  • Prepare and file annual 1099 and 1042S’s as well as quarterly foreign tax withholdings
  • Perform special projects and ad-hoc requests;
  • Maintain strong communication both written and oral amongst internal and external customers across all management levels

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business Administration (preferably Accounting) is preferred
  • 3 years Accounts Payable experience at a large company needed
  • Intermediate MS Office experience (with intermediate skills using Excel)
  • Ability to use independence and judgment to recognize and resolve problems within policy and procedure
  • Be accountable for the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of own work
  • Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, procedures and regulations
  • Understanding of basic accounting
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers
  • Adaptable to using new systems and tools
  • SAP, OpenText, and/or Concur experience is a plus
